Bull Redfish Run Fall Trips Catching and landing a red fish of this size is a real rush for any angler. After the red fish takes the bait usually of cut mullet the fishing battle is on. It takes an angler several minutes to land a big redfish. Trying to rush it can even end in the fish popping or breaking your line. Catching the bull redfish takes time and every minute is filled with excitement with the redfish spooling your reel and you trying bit by bit to reel him in. This happens until you have tired him out, and land him as your captain nets him and re-baits your hook for the fun to start all over again. Captain Mike and Captain Bo use a circle hook for catching this big fish as it assures an easy way to hook the fish and safely release the oversized fish back into the water. |
